A face wax for men clears stray hair around the cheeks, neckline and brows area so your beard, lineup and haircut look sharper. At The Fade Plug in Papakura it is a quick 15 minute add-on, or you can book it as its own service.
The Face Wax takes about 15 minutes. Add it to a haircut, or choose a combo: Cut & Beard + Face Wax covers a Signature Fade, beard cut and face wax in one appointment, and the Fade Plug Combo also includes ear wax and nose wax.

For wax to grip properly the hair needs to have a few days of growth, so try not to shave in the days before. Come with clean, dry skin.
If you have sensitive skin, a skin condition, or you use acne or retinoid treatments, tell us when you book or before we start so we can advise on whether waxing is right for you that day.
Skin can be a little pink straight after waxing. For the first day, avoid heavy exercise, saunas, hot showers on your face and direct sun, and do not scrub or pick at the area. Keep it clean and let it settle.
We are in Papakura and welcome clients from Takanini, Drury, Manurewa, Papatoetoe, Manukau and Pukekohe. If you also want a men’s haircut or skin fade, book it in the same visit. Read the house rules for booking fees and cancellations.
The booking fee is not an extra charge. It is a portion of the cost of your service, taken as either a percentage or a fixed amount depending on the service you book. After your service, everything you have paid is treated as a part-payment of the total, so you only pay the remaining balance.
To reschedule or cancel, call us on +64 22 302 2464 or cancel through the website. Bookings can only be changed or cancelled at least 4 hours before your booking time. After that, you will be charged.
We’ll always do our best, but if you’re more than 10 minutes late we may need to adjust your service or rebook.
Payments are processed by Stripe, so we follow Stripe’s payment terms. Any transaction fee that applies for the payment method you use is non-refundable.
If you don’t turn up and have not asked to cancel, you must pay for the time that was booked for you. This will be invoiced to you.
